Upholding Standards of Spatial Efficiency
Under its designated regulatory mandate, the Bureau of Space is authorised to undertake independent, secondary assessments of spatial planning documentation (floorplans), to ensure adherence to recognized principles of efficiency and functional design in single family (houses), multi-family (apartments) or commercial projects.
With over twenty years of commercial design experience in the hospitality sector, the BoS applies its specialist expertise to the disciplined evaluation of spatial and financial efficiency within proposed design work.
Each assessment is subject to a standardised fee of $250, and processed in accordance with established review protocols. In executing its statutory functions, the Bureau is required to identify and report on opportunities for the maximisation of spatial utilisation, supporting improved design outcomes for homeowners.
The Bureau requires a 50% deposit to be remitted before any review work is initiated.
